About Alpha Maths

Founded in 2014, Alpha Maths Tuition Centre offers learning and support to post-primary students to develop their skills in Maths, Irish, Chemistry, Physics, Business and Economics for the Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations. Learning is provided through private face-to-face and online tuition. Alpha Maths offers individual tuition, group classes, topic-focused workshops, revision courses, and more.

We have experienced tutors and teachers for all levels of secondary school Maths, Irish, Chemistry, Physics, Business and Economics.  We also have tutors for University Level subjects such as Maths, Economics, Econometrics, and Finance.

Detailed Notes
Maths Tution Classes Centre

We provide detailed notes to each student.  These notes cover the key topics and contain examples and past exam questions with worked solutions.

In-Person Classes

We believe the best learning experience is in-person.  Students have the opportunity to engage with tutors and ask questions.  Tutors can give students feedback and detailed instruction.

Stephen completed his second-level education in Deerpark CBS, St. Patrick’s Road, Cork and went on to complete a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineer Degree (Honours) from the Cork Institute of Technology and then a Master of Business Administration Degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Stephen has a number of years of experience as a tutor, teacher, and examiner.

Stephen also has over 20 years’ experience in Engineering having worked with a number of different multi-national corporations such as Logitech, Stryker, Tyco, and Phillips holding positions from Project Engineer to Project Manager.

Stephen recognised the demand to provide students with additional after-school support and founded
Alpha Maths Tuition Centre. The aim of Alpha Maths is to help students to develop their Maths skills so they can understand and apply the basic fundamental concepts of the new Project Maths syllabus for the Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations. The tuition centre has a friendly environment, is exam focused, and conveniently located in 87 South Mall in the heart of Cork City..
